Daniel carried out a Double Degree in Chemistry and Materials Engineering at the University of Seville, Spain, from which he graduated in 2019. He then furthered his studies at the University of Bristol, UK, where he undertook a Master’s by Research in Organic Chemistry under the Supervision of Prof. Varinder K. Aggarwal. During this 1-year research course, he developed the stereospecific transformation of alkyl boronic esters into synthetically and biologically valuable α,β-unsaturated ketones.
During his free time, Daniel enjoys meeting friends, cultural visits and occasional exercise such as climbing or cycling.
