Research.com has established the 1st edition of top chemistry scientists. Based on H-index, number of citations and publications, this ranking aims to highlight leading experts in the field of chemistry.

CHAIR member Prof. Lutz ACKERMANN from the University of Göttingen, has been ranked #103 amongst Top 1000 Scientists worldwide, and #8 out of 982 in Germany.

Prof. Ackermann’s research interests encompasses several approaches to C-H functionalisation towards generating functional materials and bioactive compounds, using techniques such as photocatalysis, electrochemistry, and flow chemistry. His research group also performs computational studies to investigate reaction mechanisms.
