Our latest meeting in Warsaw included one outreach session, to high-school students.

One class from the Batory High School, following the International Baccalaureate programme, came to visit the laboratories of the Institute of Organic Chemistry. The students were fluent in English, which facilitated the communication with our ESRs.

Prof. Gryko’s group prepared a few experiments (including fluorescence, colour changes, and sparks!) and helped our ESRs prepare for the presentations. We received great feedback from the students.
